PBCA 2008 BRITISH CAR EVENTS
These dates are for your British Car activities planning for 2008. Details will be published in the "British Marque", sent by email and US Postal and will be on this webpage. PBCA is very active. Year 2004 had 10 meetings and 22 LOCAL CLUB EVENTS (13 IN FL, 8 IN AL) through the year. PBCA Club Events are all on the Yahoo Calendar list linked below. Other events and shows will be announced as we find out about them. Let us know if you know of others.
PBCA REGULAR MEETINGS ARE THE THIRD MONDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 6:00 PM DINNER, 7:00 PM MEETING AT Picadilly Cafeteria on Pace Blvd. EXCEPTIONS ARE:JULY AND DECEMBER MEETINGS ARE AT THE MONTH'S CLUB EVENT.

August 18th Monday - PBCA Meeting at Picadilly Cafeteria, Town&Country Plaza, Pace and Fairfield Blvds, Pensacola.
September 6th - Saturday – 16th Annual Emerald Coast Car Show, at Ft. Walton Beach High School, 400 Hollywood Blvd. S.W. This professionally judged show has over 200 cars – This year will feature two fixed British Classes, 4-cyl and 6, 8, 12 cyl and will have class splits according to entry, the “Expanded British Class”. September 13th Sat - Gulf Coast Zoo & Lunch Tour, Gulf Shores, AL.
September 15th Monday - PBCA Meeting at Picadilly Cafeteria, Town&Country Plaza, Pace and Fairfield Blvds, Pensacola.
September 17th-19th Sat/Sun - British Car Gathering at Dillard, GA, hosted by Peachtree MG Club of Atlanta.
September 20 Sat - Drive-In Movie at the Belmont Arts Center, movie "Gumball Rally", will start at dusk. Address: 401 N.Reus St. downtown Pensacola. Cost: $15 per car. Click for flyer here.
September 26-27 – BRITS ON THE RIVER, Vidalia, LA (Natchez, MS) British Car Show. This is a fun show in a great location. The show site is in a RV park in conjunction with the annual Jim Bowie Bar-B-Que Festival. Natchez is a fun town to visit. Lots of great restaurants, antique shopping and tours of antebellum homes. PBCA will have a caravan going to Vadalia on Friday morning if we have enough members interested in joining us. Let Tom Schmitz know if you are interested or need more particulars.

October 4th Sat - 9th annual ice cream social at Richard & Donna Conningham's house and “Garagemahal”. Takes place at
2:00 PM. SABCC will furnish cups, plates, soft drinks, etc. Please bring
your favorite ice cream toppings, any other goodies you might like
and your appetite. The “Garagemahal” is air conditioned and
Richard and Donna are great hosts.
October 19th Sun - Polo Matches with Mardi Gras MGs, Fairhope, AL. Champagne and Chukkers! (more details on this event to follow). Mardi Gras MG British Car Club is the host and will be joined by PBCA, SABCC, and the Gulf Coast Land Rover Club.
October 18th Sat - Navarre Car Show, Navarre High School, FL.
October 20th Monday - PBCA Meeting at Picadilly Cafeteria, Town&Country Plaza, Pace and Fairfield Blvds, Pensacola.
October 25th Sat - South Alabama British Car Club (SABCC) Fairhope British Car Show. www.sabcc.org
November 1st Sat - Chattanooga British Car Show

November 16th Sun - 5th Annual Chumuckla Int'l Airport Picnic. Bring covered dish or dessert. Details in PBCA email.
PBCA Road Rally will be rescheduled at a later date.
November 17th Monday - PBCA Meeting at Picadilly Cafeteria, Town&Country Plaza, Pace and Fairfield Blvds, Pensacola. Election of club officers.
December 6th Sat - PBCA Christmas Party, Pensacola Beach Resort/Days Inn, 16 Via de Luna Dr, Pensacola Beach, FL. BYOB, "Dirty Santa" gift exchange after dinner, 6pm. Installation of new club officers.
December (TBA) Sat - Lillian Alabama Christmas Parade, PBCA participates.
December 14th Sat - Quayside Gallery Arts and Hor'dourves Tour.
