THANK YOU to those who came to the Gulf Coast Spit-Together in Pensacola, Florida, during the Pensacola British Car Show. The Spit-Together was really a "show within a show".

Participants in the Spit-Together received "Spit-Together" awards, T-shirts, and hat pins.

Friday evening we welcomed everyone to Pensacola with a "red-beans-and-rice" free dinner at the host hotel with those attending the British car show. Dinner is sponsored by the Panhandle British Car Association (PBCA).

Saturday morning we drove to the British car show site in historic Pensacola.

After the show, we returned to the island and had dinner at "Crabs" restaurant right next to the beach hotel.

Sunday we drove to NAS Pensacola to tour the National Museum of Naval Aviation with 180 aircraft mostly indoors and an IMAX theatre, and aircraft flight simulators.

Sunday lunch was at the Cubi Bar & Cafe which re-creates the famous bar that was popular with US aviators in the Phillippines.

Depart and head for home. Mike Japp lead the group to a gas station on the way to the interstate. Mike Japp drove his yellow Spitfire and Mike Ross drove Mike Japp's blue Spitfire home.
