THE GOOD:

Description: This is a very original Spitfire. Very little has been modified from original condition. The only things changed are the original air pump, radio, and the addition of fog lamps.
I just replaced the axle shaft u-joints on 11-12 Sept. I removed the axle assemblies and had a shop replace the u-joints. Then re-installed them and took the last row of photos.

THE BAD:
The last picture shows the only large rust spot I can find on the entire car. Located under the left headlight trim cover. It's only visible with the trim cover removed.
The driver's seat has a hole on the outward side.
The convertible top's frame has some light surface rust on the back bracket where it's bolted to the body.
The dashboard air vents also have some light surface rust which I easily corrected on my yellow Spitfire by sanding and painting.
There is a new scratch under the back bumper right side. I backed up a little more than I should have when parking in my tight shop and hit a spare tranny.
