THE GOOD:
Miles: odometer shows 80k+, but it's rolled over.
Price: $4,000 US
Description: This is a quite original Triumph 2000 4-door sedan. It has the Triumph 2.0 Liter 6-cylinder engine and the factory optional Borg-Warner Type 35 automatic transmission. The carbs are twin Zenith-Stromberg CD150s. This is the same engine and carbs as the GT6 Mk1, so those parts are easy to get.
New parts: front turn lenses (amber UK spec), front parking white lenses, triple-core radiator, left door lock, ignition switch & trunk lock not installed, wiper switch.
The fuel pump is electric replacing the original engine mounted pump.
The radio is modern with a removable faceplate and digital tuner.
The radiator now has a triple-core and an additional electric fan is mounted on the radiator.
The interior wood panels were replaced and the interior vinyl seats are in good order with the original style seat belt buckles and shoulder straps.

THE BAD:
There are a few rust spots on various places around the car. Several paint chips in the front.
The speedometer doesn't work. I've traced it to the transmission's speedometer drive gear. I have the replacement parts but not installed.
The engine has the typical British habit of leaking to mark its territory. :-)
The window of the left rear door is loose and comes off the track, so I leave it rolled up.
The interior light does not work.
The headlights are intermittent. I don't know if it's the switch or the wiring.
